Privacy Policy
How side hustles handles your information. Plain language, no fine print games.
What we collect
When you create an account, we store your email address and password (hashed) so you can sign back in.
When you use the app, we store the progress you create: your chosen hustle, completed steps, sales you log and your XP. This is what makes your experience work across visits.
When you contact us through the contact form, we store your name, email and message so we can reply.
We collect basic, anonymous usage information (pages viewed, approximate device type) to understand which parts of the site are useful. We do not sell this data.
How we use your information
To run the app: save your progress, show your hustle, and personalize recommendations like the AI Matchmaker.
To communicate with you: reply to support messages and, if you have signed up for them, send updates about the site.
To keep the site safe: detect abuse, spam and fraud.
We never sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your progress and device
Much of your in-app progress (active hustle, completed steps, logged sales) is stored on your device. Clearing your browser storage resets it, and it does not transfer between devices.
You can delete your account data by contacting us โ we will remove your account and stored information on request.
Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage and essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Third-party services
We use a small number of service providers to run the site: hosting, a database and email delivery. These providers process data only on our behalf.
Some pages link to third-party tools and resources. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us through the contact form and we will respond promptly.
If you are in Canada, you also have rights under federal privacy law (PIPEDA), including the right to complain about how we handle your information.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date below shows the latest version.
